The store deserves zero stars because their customer Service is so abysmal I refuse to ever step foot back in here. I came in to ask for a refund for about $40 worth of stuff that I bought two days ago and were unopened. I had asked and employee as I was checking out if I would be able to refund the stuff I bought as long as it was an open and then have the receipt and she said yes that's fine. So it turns out I needed to return the stuff and I walk into the store and I can barely get the sentence out of my mouth when the cashier interrupted and said she could only give me store credit and if somebody told me that , then "oh well" . She was already extremely dismissive so I asked to speak to her manager and when the manager named Jen came out she was probably the rudest person I've ever encountered in Customer Service. She stood there in front of a line of customers - did not even have the decency he does speak to me off to the side and hear my situation or explanation-and told me that I was SOL and I could talk to her boss and I could go to whoever I wanted to but I wouldn't going to get my money back. They would allow me store credit. She rudely ordered me to read my receipt. I stood there open-mouthed at how ugly she is and acted, she said "Bye" and laughed and said "that's fine, you can just stand there," and turned around and walked off. I have very little hope of dealing with anyone on the store level about this but you can bet I'll be going to corporate and whether it is a policy or not to be refunded or get store credit, there is no excuse for such atrocious behavior from an employee and manager of an establishment that depends on the public to make a living. There are too many people that are willing to do a good job for a company that deserve to have her job. Dollar Tree, you can do a whole lot better than "Jen" who is doing your business a grave disservice by even being in the building with customers, much less representing your company.
